THIS APP USES PAPER MONEY ONLY. Every balance, investment, profit and loss shown to you is simulated — no real dollars can be deposited, invested, withdrawn or lost through it. This statement explains the risks of futures trading, which are real for the traders whose records you follow, and the limits of the simulated investing you do here. Read it before relying on any performance figures.
Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Futures positions are leveraged: a small change in the price of the underlying contract produces a much larger change in the value of a position. Losses can exceed the amount originally committed to a trade. Past performance — including a broker-confirmed track record — is not indicative of future results.
All balances, investments and returns in the app are simulated with paper money. No real dollars can be deposited, invested, or lost. Trader track records shown alongside simulated pools are derived from real brokerage data via read-only connections, but investing in those records here is simulation only.
"Confirmed" means performance was computed by the platform from fills reported by the trader's brokerage through a read-only connection the trader authorized. Confirmation covers the data source; it is not a prediction, endorsement, or guarantee of future performance. Records begin on the date the trader connected and may not reflect earlier trading.
A trader's displayed name is the account holder's name as their BROKERAGE reports it, released to the platform over the same read-only connection that supplies their fills. It is not typed in by the trader and cannot be edited in the app once a brokerage is linked. Showing it is optional — a trader may publish their full name, an abbreviated form, a self-chosen community handle instead, or no name at all — and hiding it changes nothing about how their record was computed. A handle is chosen by the trader rather than reported by the brokerage, so it is shown with an @ and never carries the confirmed badge: where you see a handle, no name has been confirmed. Confirmation covers the source of the name only; it is not a background check, a registration, an endorsement, or a statement about the trader's competence.
Each pool displays a risk band from 1 (Conservative) to 5 (High). The band is calculated by the platform in two steps — it is not supplied by the trader and cannot be influenced by them. STEP 1, THE MEASURED BAND: three figures are computed from the trader's broker-confirmed daily equity record — (a) WORST SINGLE DAY, the largest one-day percentage fall in account equity; (b) MAXIMUM DRAWDOWN, the deepest peak-to-trough percentage fall; and (c) ANNUALISED VOLATILITY, the sample standard deviation of daily returns multiplied by the square root of 252. Each is assigned a band of 1 to 5 against fixed published thresholds, and the measured band is THE HIGHEST (RISKIEST) OF THE THREE. A favourable figure never offsets an unfavourable one. STEP 2, THE RECORD-LENGTH ADJUSTMENT, is described below. The published band is the result of both steps.
THE BEST BAND ANY POOL CAN RECEIVE IS 1. There is no band 0, and no pool is ever described as low-risk, safe, capital-protected, or free of risk. The band labels — Calmest, Moderate, Elevated, High, Highest — describe the MEASUREMENT, not the pool, the trader's intentions, or an investor profile the pool is said to suit. Band 1 ("Calmest") means only that a pool's measured figures fell within the calmest thresholds on the scale over a confirmed record of at least 252 trading days — it does not mean the pool is unlikely to lose money. Every pool on this platform trades leveraged futures, where losses can be rapid and substantial and can exceed the amount originally committed. A band 1 pool can lose money — real money for the trader, paper money for you here — can suffer a drawdown larger than anything in its record, and can encounter market conditions its history has never included. The band ranks pools relative to one another on measured past behaviour; it does not establish that any pool is suitable, prudent, or safe for any investor.
The thresholds in force are: Band 1 (Calmest): worst day no worse than -2%, maximum drawdown no worse than -5%, volatility under 10%. Band 2 (Moderate): worst day no worse than -4%, maximum drawdown no worse than -10%, volatility under 20%. Band 3 (Elevated): worst day no worse than -7%, maximum drawdown no worse than -18%, volatility under 35%. Band 4 (High): worst day no worse than -12%, maximum drawdown no worse than -30%, volatility under 60%. Band 5 (Highest): worse than band 4 on any single measure. Band 4's limits (-12% in a day, -30% drawdown) are the platform's standard risk template; band 5 therefore means the record falls outside that template. This statement is generated from the thresholds the platform is actually applying — it is methodology version 2, in effect since 2026-08-10.
The thresholds above form a numbered, dated version of the risk band methodology, displayed in the app alongside every band. The platform may revise them as it accumulates operating data. When it does: the version number is incremented, the new effective date is recorded, the superseded version is retained in full, and the change is written to a permanent audit log with a timestamp and the identity of the person who made it. The methodology in force on any given date can therefore be reproduced exactly, and a band displayed to an investor can be traced to the specific rules that produced it. Thresholds are applied uniformly and automatically to every pool; they are never set, adjusted, or waived for an individual pool, trader, or investor, and no trader can influence their own band other than by trading.
A track record shorter than one year of trading cannot demonstrate how a strategy behaves across a full range of market conditions, and the platform treats that uncertainty as a risk to be disclosed rather than as an absence of risk. Accordingly: a pool with FEWER THAN 252 CONFIRMED TRADING DAYS (approximately one year) has its measured band RAISED BY AT LEAST ONE; and a pool whose record has NOT YET REACHED EITHER 30 CALENDAR DAYS OR 30 COMPLETED TRADES is rated BAND 5 outright, regardless of how favourable its measured figures appear. Either threshold alone is sufficient to be rated: a strategy that holds positions over weeks qualifies on elapsed days, while one that trades frequently qualifies on completed trades, and neither is required to satisfy both. Investors should not read a low measured drawdown or volatility over a short period as evidence of safety. A pool's band may therefore improve over time purely because its record has lengthened, without any change in how it trades — and the reverse is not true: lengthening a record never worsens the band by itself.
The risk band is a DESCRIPTIVE summary of what has already occurred in the trader's confirmed record. It is not a forecast, not a probability of loss, not a rating of the trader's skill, and NOT ADVICE THAT A POOL IS OR IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOU. It is not comparable to credit ratings or to risk indicators published by other firms, which use different methods. As stated above, band 1 is the lowest band available and not a risk-free rating; a pool in band 1 can still lose money (the trader's real money; your simulated balance here), and losses may exceed those implied by any historical figure. Because the band is derived from a limited history captured from the date the trader connected, it may not reflect market conditions the strategy has never encountered.
Nothing in this app is investment, legal, or tax advice. The app does not recommend any pool, trader, or strategy. Simulated results do not account for fees, slippage, or market impact that would affect a real account.
